Terms of Use — Collage Studio

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Collage Studio app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. The App is a photo-collage editor published by the developer of Collage Studio (“we”, “us”).

1. Licence to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own private or internal use, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you installed it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App or attempt to extract its source code, keys, or credentials, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, images, and text you add to a collage (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the right to use it. You must not use the App to create or share material that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, is hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use your photos to train AI models.

3. AI and online features

Optional features — background removal, object/person removal, and background search — send only the specific image you are editing to our processing server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, edit it, and return the result. These images are processed for that single request and are not stored afterwards. Results are produced automatically and may not always be perfect; you should review any output before using it. 4. Collage Studio Pro (subscriptions)

What Pro offers. A paid subscription unlocks Pro features such as removing the watermark, premium frames and content, and higher-resolution exports. Exact features and prices are shown in the App before you buy.
Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), not directly by us. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Managing and cancelling. You manage or cancel a subscription in your app store account settings (Apple ID or Google Play subscriptions). Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by the app store under its own policies. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Advertising and rewarded videos

The free version may show ads, including optional rewarded videos you can choose to watch to earn a watermark-free export. You are not required to watch ads; buying Pro removes ads. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob and are subject to its terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App or our servers, including: attempting to gain unauthorised access; sending excessive, automated, or abusive requests; bypassing rate limits or security measures; or interfering with other users. We may apply technical limits and may suspend access that we reasonably believe is abusive.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, built-in templates, frames, and bundled content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Stickers, icons, and stock images provided in the App are licensed for use within collages you create and may not be extracted or redistributed separately.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the App and its online features available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features, and may update or discontinue the App. Online features depend on your internet connection and may be temporarily unavailable.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data or content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end your licence to use the App if you materially breach these Terms or use the App unlawfully.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. The app store’s own terms also apply to purchases made through it.
